Israeli soldiers abducted, on Sunday at dawn and morning hours, ten Palestinians, including two legislators, mainly from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, after the army stormed and violently searched many homes.

The soldiers invaded several homes in Hebron, in southern West Bank, interrogated many residents before abducting two elected legislators, identified as Hatem Qfeisha, and Nayef Rajoub, both are political leaders of Hamas movement. Their abduction brings the number of imprisoned legislators to eight.

Qfeisha was released after a few hours of interrogation.

In addition, the soldiers invaded many homes in Qalqilia, in northern West Bank, before abducting Wajdi Mo’in Shanti, 20, Mohammad Nour Yassin, 20, and Wisam Hamada Yassin, 20.

The soldiers also abducted Ahmad Arafa, 35, from Deheishe refugee camp, and Ahmad Salah Taqatqa, 17, from Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem.

Arafa was abducted after being stopped at the Container military roadblock, northeast of Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

On Saturday evening, the soldiers abducted Rima Abdul-Fattah al-Kilani, 18, from Nazlet Zeid village, southwest of Jenin, while she was walking near a military roadblock.

On Saturday at night, the soldiers abducted Ribhi al-Asmar and his brother Ahmad, from their home in occupied Jerusalem.
